Mr. Steven Wornell

Hello! My name is Steve Wornell and I have been teaching with Palliser since 2007 and with Palliser Beyond Borders since 2015. This year I am teaching all the Grade 11 and 12 Social Studies classes as well as some Science and CTS courses. I started teaching northern Manitoba in 1996 and worked there for two years, then I moved with my wife to Australia and taught in a high school there for two years. My wife and I then returned to Canada and lived in New Brunswick for five years. We moved to Alberta in 2006. 

I was born on the east coast (Nova Scotia) and I enjoy being in the outdoors and exploring the world as much as I can with my wife and two kids. In my free time I volunteer as a ski patroller at Castle Mountain in southern Alberta and like working with technology.
