Mrs. Samantha Willier

Hello! My name is Samantha Willier and this is my eleventh year as an educator, though it is my first year teaching at Palliser Beyond Borders. This year I will be teaching Grade 9 English Language Arts as well as the 20 and 30 level English courses. I look forward to chatting with all of my students about their love of reading. I am always on the lookout for my next great read! 

I am originally from Northern Alberta, however my husband and I moved south nine years ago to pursue career opportunities. We have lived in Lethbridge for three years now, and are still moaning about the wind and lack of trees. However, we are obsessed with the restaurant, "Mama La's" and therefore, we will never leave! Lethbridge's proximity to Waterton also helps a little. 

Since my husband is also an educator, during the summer months we are typically spending quality time at our family cabin in Slave Lake, or trekking across the globe in pursuit of a good meal, isolated beach, and pristine swimming water. I am an intermediate Spanish speaker and am always trying to practice my conversational skills.
